Lady Gaga to Honor Beyoncé at Billboard Awards

Lady Gaga will take part in a tribute to Beyoncé Knowles at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards along with First Lady Michelle Obama, Barbra Streisand, U2 frontman Bono and Stevie Wonder. During the award show, Beyoncé will also receive the Millenium Award for her career achievements and influence in the music industry.

The pop superstars collaborated on their duets “Telephone” and “Video Phone” last year. “You know she is such a beautiful person, and I gotta tell you, I just adore her,” said Gaga. “I had kind of lost faith a little bit in meeting artists in the business — and then I met Beyoncé.”
The 2011 Billboard Music Awards will take place this Sunday, May 22nd in Las Vegas. Lady Gaga is among the finalists with 12 nominations, including Top Artist, Top Tour and Top Pop Album.
